Partners needed stable API primitives for collections, payouts, and reconciliation while the platform protected the state machines underneath live money movement.
The API surface separated intent creation, authentication, authorization, idempotent mutation, provider execution, settlement, and public documentation so integrators could reason about each step.
NextAPI became a clearer partner platform surface for payment and payout workflows, with stronger contract checks and safer integration paths.
